I suppose i probably should've mentioned this...school's over for a few months. That's it - one year down; two and a half or three to go. Despite all the time spent in utter boredom, the year went by incredibly fast. Now i'm back here, not looking forward to living for over three months in the house i've long fantasized about destroying.

for all the (aforementioned) boredom, all the annoying idiosyncracies of dorm life, all the loneliness, college has been overall a good experience as of yet. if it's not true in reality, i can at least look at it as if it were, and after all, that's what's important. i have a long way to go before i'll be completely comfortable fending for myself, what with rent, utilities, insurance of all shapes and sizes, groceries, etc., but i'm starting at least.

ok, screw this, i'm really not in the right mindset to write; think i'll go read instead.
